A Business Associate Agreement is a legally required contract under HIPAA between a Covered Entity (your dental practice) and a Business Associate (Filld) who handles Protected Health Information (PHI) on your behalf.
Because Filld processes patient names, phone numbers, and appointment data in order to send appointment notifications and write call outcomes to your PMS, we qualify as a Business Associate under HIPAA — and a signed BAA is required before we can process any of that data.
We require a signed BAA before your trial begins. This protects your patients, your practice, and ensures Filld is used in a fully compliant manner.

We'll send you our standard BAA via DocuSign within one business day. The agreement is straightforward and written in plain language.
